Dr. Kay Scarpetta, Virginia's Chief Medical Examiner, was investigating suspected multiple homicides by a single killer in England when a female torso was discovered at a landfill near her home similar to the style of killings in England. Investigations leading into this woman's unnatural death prompted massive media frenzy of a serial killer on the loose.

Dr. Scarpetta soon started to receive e-mails from the killer who goes by the name of Deadoc with photographs of blood-ridden crime scenes and dismembered limbs. Unexplanable death of a woman at Tangier Islands revealed a mutant-strain of killer virus on the loose as Dr. Scarpetta noticed the similarities of the blistered skin from both of the bodies of what appeared to be smallpox. Deadoc continues to haunt Dr. Scarpetta as more cryptic messages were sent to her through the Internet.

Along with her trusted colleague and long-time friend Police Captain Pete Marino and Lucy, her niece and a computer whiz-kid who works for the FBI, a plan was put to place to nail the killer by enticing 'him' to start conversations with Dr. Scarpetta in the AOL chat rooms."

aku tengah gila dengan patricia cornwell, sama gila mcm aku penah buat dgn novel jude deveroux & dan brown* itu memang name die dan brown lah, bukan aku typo eja 2 kali :D si minah cornwell ni buat aku emo dan serious macam kay scarpetta die tuh. patut la llaki sume takut nak dekat dgn die ^^
 
baru tiga hari, aku dah rasa nak balik kolej balik. asal? ntah. bosan pun ye. rse rindu nak bukak buku biology campbell sebesar alam tu pun ye *eleh, macam sebelum ni kau bukak campbell tu oiiii* rindu nak makan kueytiow hongkong cafe B. rindu nak lepak kat starbucks luar library, berebut nak tempat paling hujung tu sebab nak curi wifi koop yang sangat laju dan tak lembab. heh cukup2 lah tu fibi, apekes sajelahh kau nii.
 
bila kat kolej gedik nak balik rumah, bila dah kat rumah mengada nak balik kolej. manusia memang beginikah??
 
aku nak tukar layout blog ni, tapi malas. ya, malas. sebab malas nak edit html, nk kene bukak windows sampai berbelas2 segala. nti2 lah, bile sampai seru. bt aku rasa carpet ini terlalu dull, seperti seorang nerdy yg tak ada life. so aku rasa splashes of colours on texts mcm ni, quite helping kot. untuk orang yang enthusiastic mahukan perubahan tetapi tiada usaha utk melakukan, spt aku ini -.-'
